DeKalb FBLA has adopted a tiger at Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge for the community service project Pledges for Paws. Ty was rescued from a former sanctuary and will be supported by FBLA for one year. Thanks to all who helped our cause!

The 2nd Annual Alumni night will be held Tuesday, Jan. 29th when the DeKalb Tigers take on Rock Port. Alumni will get in for the price of student admission, and old basketball jerseys will be available for purchase with a free will donation. Proceeds will go towards the athletic department. On Saturday, Feb. 2 we will have a community ice cream social and pep rally to kick off Courtwarming Week from 7-8pm in the DeKalb High School Commons. Come join us for ice cream, youth cheerleader performance, announcements of candidates and players, and overall fun!

3rd grade had a STEM challenge to kick off our new ELA Module~Space. Our challenge was to be NASA engineers and create a Mars lander. Our objective was to make sure our Lego man didn't fall out of the lander from a 2 foot drop. We had to experiment at higher heights too!!
