Preschool has been learning about the weather. We visited the KQ2 News Station today. We went on a tour of the station, saw a drone fly and land, and saw ourselves on the green screen! We may have some future meteorologists in our class! Watch for us on the news tonight!

Congratulations to Rebekah Gunter, Natalyn Killoren, Ashton Crockett and Carli Browning for placing 2nd out of 28 teams in the FFA Knowledge Contest at District competition last night. They are the first team from DeKalb to ever qualify for state in FFA Knowledge!

Career Day at DHS on Friday. Students explored different careers in the mornings & juniors & seniors participated in mock interviews! Awesome job to those students. Great day to be a tiger!
For the second straight year the FFA officers were invited to attend the annual St. Joseph Farm City Breakfast. This event allows our FFA members a chance to listen and interact with agricultural leaders from across our region.
The other two Ag contest teams not pictured in the previous post include the Meats and Forestry Team.

The 2nd graders planted, documented and recorded the growth, and watched their efforts bloom into a beautiful amaryllis that they named Lilly! Spring is almost here!
