The 2nd grade had a fun, learning experience on their field trip to Mt. Gilead , a one-room schoolhouse in Kearney, MO. While here, they went back in time to 1889 and did penmanship, arithmetic, geography, read from the old McGuffy readers, had a spelling bee, shared recitations, and even played some games!
Thank you to the DeKalb Booster Club for providing pizza for the band before the spring concert last night. They go above and beyond to support all student activities.
